Should you worry about this new search engine called Bing?  Should you invest in it? Should you worry about your audience finding you thourgh it?…I don’t think so, however Bing did a great job of marketing and positioning its self next to Google.  Just about all of your traffic will come from Google.  I don’t feel that Bing will change the standard for searching on the web (Google).

What does Bing have to offer?
Bing offers a more visual approach to your initial search experience.  You are greeted with a stunning image that might even be related to your city or state.  One time I searched for Mexican food in San Antonio, and then the next time I logged in, Bing had a picture of downtown San Antonio in its search box.  It also gave me some suggestions for Mexican food in the area (as if I only want to search for food when I use the internet).

Overall, its kinda cool to look at, but I doubt it will be a major player for search engines.

I designed this site for Kelly Knight over at Scenic Loop Cafe.  After I was done she sent an email saying..

I want to do a quick promotion that will also capture user information, you will have to make form that will grab like an email address, comments, maybe some drop down options, etc.  If you ask me to build it, I would have to build the form and then have that information either emailed to you or go to a database.  The ideal thing would be to have it go to a database, but then that is extra cost for you.  I found a new site called Wufoo, that will do all the dirty work for both of us!

Wufoo charges you per month and per form.  If takes all the user’s info and puts it into your account for reporting.  Its easy to setup and easy to install on your site.  Email me if you want to learn more about it!
