I want that image

Have you ever tried to save an image by just “left-clicking” on it hoping to “save image as”? You then realize that it is a Flash site or a site that does not allow for you to save their images.  Well, if you can see it, you can grab it.

Here’s how:

For my pc users, there is a button on your keyboard that you probably don’t use much.  Its the “PrtScrn” button that is usually near the top right of your keyboard next to the “Scroll Lock” and “Pause Break” keys. Hit “PrtScrn” and open up your Paint program (Paint is on pretty much every pc).  Then just “paste” the screen shot you took (you can hit “Ctrl-v” or go to “edit” and then “paste”).  Your image should appear and you can crop it or save it as is.

For my mac people, just hit “Shift-Command-3″ and an image will appear on your desktop. Thats it!

Esc from the madness

Web Browser Tip: Have you ever had annoying banner ads distract you while you are reading an article? Just hit the escape key ‘esc’ and if those ads are not Flash, they will stop. Flash ads will continue to annoy us forever.
