Sophia Young Backboard

Just found our backboard design for San Antonio Star Sophia Young. It was for the Spurs Black and Silver Auction night. City basketball stars like George Gervin, Tim Duncan, David Robinson along with Sophia Young all had custom designed NBA sized backboards designed for them. These boards were then sold at an auction that raised money for the Spurs Foundation.

We decided to make Sophia’s board a true testimony to who she is deep down as a person. The board starts out proclaiming her strong faith with her favorite scripture at the top. The background is her native country flag of Saint Vincent, West Indies. The eagle is from her high school team and the Baylor Bears are represented on the far right. She won a national championship with the Bears! The silver banner at the bottom represents the black silver colors of our San Antonio Stars. It is signed by the kids she supports at the Roy Maas Foundation.
